Mission
Statement
We
value our commitment to minister to those who are in need, to the sick, to the
friendless, and to any who may be in distress both within and beyond the
community of faith. We believe in maintaining connections to the community of
the church through our participation in activities that bind the members of our
church family. We see the value of education and spiritual growth in our
Presbyterian heritage. We support the Evangelical Mission of the church. We
value the diversity within our congregation and community. In our dealings with
others in the larger church community and the world at large, we value honesty,
integrity, respect for all individuals, and open communication.
We
will minister to those who are in need.
We
will provide opportunities for education and spiritual growth, and knowledge of
our Presbyterian heritage. Possibilities could include any of the following:
We
will encourage the people of Peace to maintain connections to the community of
the church.
We
will participate in church activities and support the participation of all
members.
We
will facilitate the participation of individuals with physical, sensory, or
mental differences in church events.
